Darien Reconstruction Design-Build

After purchasing a very dated 60’s vintage contemporary in Darien that had a wonderful location near the water, the homeowner contacted All Phase to help her with the design and transformation of the property into her french-country style dream home.

The All Phase Design and Drafting team worked with the customer to create a design and construction plan that fulfilled her vision for the home and property. 

 
Incorporating elements from European country homes and the indoor-outdoor living style of her sunny homeland into a traditional New England locale was a challenge our design team truly enjoyed.

 
Incorporating elements from European country homes and the indoor-outdoor living style of The final design arrived at required that the existing home be all but razed to the ground, leaving only a few of the original wall frames and basement floor.

The new home was constructed around the remains of the original, but the new design bears no resemblance to the former 60’s contemporary.

 
The new living spaces featured multi-level rooms with soaring ceilings and a new carriage house with a well appointed guest suite above.

All Phase worked closely with the owner in selecting the finishes and touches that give this home old-world charm.
